AJ Donaldson is a father, husband, son, and mentor! He was born and raised in Miami by a single mother. Growing up, he leaned on mentors to help navigate his life choices and education. At a young age, he realized he would one day be a mentor to kids in his community and beyond. Years later, AJ graduated from the University of Miami with a dual Bachelor of Art and Sciences in Electrical and Audio Engineering while playing football for the university.
With an evident passion for serving students in underserved communities throughout South Florida, AJ started The Epic Foundation in 2014. He’s from that same underserved community and knows how life-changing it can be to have the proper afterschool support supplementing students’ in-classroom education and guidance to a viable career path. The EPIC Foundation has served more than 250 students to date, and their reach grows daily.
